ABOUT

Savannah Chambers is the first and only barrister practice with permanent chambers in north-west Queensland. Savnnah Chambers was established by Queensland barrister Michael Labone following a period of working in the region and consulting with north-west Queensland stakeholders. The chambers is conveniently located a short distance from the Mount Isa courts complex.

 

Michael Labone BA LLB MA LLM commenced practice at the Queensland Bar in 2006. Michael has extensive experience in criminal and regulatory law. Michael has acted as either prosecutor or defence counsel in numerous criminal and regulatory prosecutions and is appointed to the Legal Aid Queensland Complex Criminal Case Barrister Panel.

In the civil jurisdiction, Michael has acted for and advised government authorities, businesses and individuals across a wide range of common law, commercial, administrative and regulatory proceedings and appeals, including:
